Welcome to Corral Hollow Elementary School

Welcome to the community of Corral Hollow Elementary School (CHES). As the newest campus in the Jefferson School District, we are a proud addition to our educational community, providing a bridge between the rich history of the Tracy area and a bright, technology-driven future.

About Us

Opened in August 2024, Corral Hollow Elementary is a state-of-the-art TK-8 campus designed to meet the needs of the 21st-century learner. Our 14-acre campus in the Tracy Hills neighborhood was built with collaboration in mind. From our open-air architecture to our "learning lab" style library, every corner of CHES is designed to inspire wonder, discovery, and a deep sense of belonging for our students.

Our Vision

At Corral Hollow Elementary School, we are committed to cultivating a community of lifelong learners who contribute positively to society. We aim to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world, while nurturing empathy, creativity, resilience, and a deep appreciation for diversity.

Our Mission

Corral Hollow Elementary School is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We empower students to become critical thinkers who actively pursue and achieve lifelong success.

What Makes Corral Hollow Special?

We believe that a well-rounded education happens both inside and outside the classroom. Our campus features:

  • State-of-the-Art Media Center: A technology-forward library featuring an outdoor reading deck and high-speed digital resources.
  • STEM-Focused Learning: Dedicated science labs and 1:1 Chromebook access for every student to facilitate hands-on discovery and inquiry-based learning.
  • Community Connection: A school garden where students learn about nutrition and sustainability, alongside expansive athletic halls for performing arts and physical education.
  • Inclusive Excellence: Home to the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program and a wide range of extracurriculars that celebrate the diverse interests of our students.

A Legacy in the Making

As the first new school built in Tracy since 2008, we take our responsibility to our students and community seriously. Led by Principal Heather Copeland, our staff is dedicated to establishing a culture of integrity, excellence, and district-wide collaboration. We are excited to serve the families of Tracy Hills and to grow alongside our fellow schools in the Jefferson School District.
